I built a balsa wood Starship Enterprise.
My twin sons got a balsa wood airplane last year for their birthday, and as we were building it I thought how cool it looked, and how cool the Enterprise would look built out of the struts and formers and stringers, so I decided to build one.
I drew the plans in Illustrator over some blueprints of the Enterprise and had them laser cut. It took me a couple tries and about 8 months to get it all together, but it came out great.
Another piece by Katherine. I was doing some editing notes on the computer, and she sat on the floor and drew. Fry’s holding somebody’s head in a jar. (This was about 3 years ago)
Like I said earlier, I’m a big fan.
